When you spot a mango tree, its branches laden with the golden fruit, it’s hard not to notice how the strong and sturdy branches, bear the weight of the ripe mangoes, while the leaves dance gently in the breeze. We wanted to create the Mango Chandeliers as an ode to this beautiful balance of strength and grace.
Rather than overwhelming catalogs, we cherish the narrative arc of our products, archiving them from time-to-time to make space for new tales to unfold. Just as every story has a beginning and an end, so do the products in our lineup.
We believe that not all our products will be archived, some will be discontinued and the archive will be an homage to designs that were special. Each design in the archive will have a rich story to tell and we will never produce them again.
When we decide to archive a Surmeyi piece, we will let you all know so you can have a window of time to purchase it before it’s gone (forever!). We will also not be discounting the archival products in their final run since an archival only increases their value. So to sweeten the deal, we look forward to sending a little souvenir to everyone who’s ever ordered an archival piece from us.
