Find your ring size
Ring sizes are measured by the inside of the band, not the outside. Here are two ways to find yours at home, and the chart we make to.
Method 1: Measure a ring you already wear
The most accurate way, because it leaves no room for ambiguity.
- Pick a ring that fits the finger you have in mind.
- Place it flat on a ruler.
- Measure the inside diameter, from the inner edge on one side to the inner edge on the other.
- Match your measurement in the chart below.
Method 2: Measure your finger
- Wrap a strip of paper or a piece of string around the base of the finger.
- Mark where it meets, then lay it flat against a ruler.
- That length is your circumference. Match it in the chart below.
Measure at the end of the day, when fingers are at their largest, and make sure the string can pass over your knuckle.
Size chart
| US size | Inside diameter | Inside circumference |
|---|---|---|
| 5 | 15.7 mm | 49.3 mm |
| 6 | 16.5 mm | 51.9 mm |
| 7 · most common | 17.3 mm | 54.4 mm |
| 8 | 18.1 mm | 57.0 mm |
| 9 | 18.9 mm | 59.5 mm |
| 10 | 19.8 mm | 62.1 mm |
| 11 | 20.6 mm | 64.6 mm |
| 12 | 21.4 mm | 67.2 mm |
Between two sizes? Go up. A ring that turns a little is easier to live with than one that will not pass the knuckle.
