Sculpted to trace the ear, the Matriarch Ear Cuffs balance a smooth, elongated form with intricate ornamental carving. Its reference reveals itself slowly - the elephant present not as motif, but through gesture, proportion and line. An object of adornment that feels collected rather than simply worn.

The story of Kula

Kula is inspired by elephants as beings, not motifs. The way a herd moves together, how a matriarch remembers the way home, and how closely their lives are tied to one another and to the land. That way of seeing found its way into these pieces. In the silhouettes, the imprints, patterns and the shadows. Pieces that don’t resemble an elephant so much as leave you with the feeling of her presence.
